The Bank Job (Fred 'The Shred' Goodwin) - J.P Mancini
Acrylic on board - (2010)
The head of the RBS bank who was generally regarded as unpopular, brash and ruthless, but who’s poor business acumen and egotistical bias for acquisition growth almost destroyed the RBS bank group and the entire banking system of Great Britain in 2007-08. The British government stepped in to save the banks, but Fred Goodwin got to keep his reputed £9 million per year pension.
